Volunteers from Wausau's Center for the Visual Arts are putting the final touches on the 400 block for Chalkfest.
This is the 9th year the city has hosted the event. It is a chance for artists to try their skills on the sidewalks. This year, organizers say 250 artists have pre-registered. If you have not registered yet, you can still show up at the event Saturday and register.
