There are new developments in a drug investigation involving several area educators.
Two former Merrill school employees have taken plea deals.
Jay Peterson, a former Merrill coach and teacher, pleaded no contest to a charge of possession of THC, the main ingredient in marijuana.
As part of the plea agreement, Peterson must provide testimony. If he stays out of trouble for one year, the charge against him will be changed to a disorderly conduct.
Former Merrill athletic director Peter Miller also took a plea deal. The conditions of Miller's deal are the same as Peterson's.
Plenty of clouds the next few days, but also warmer.
