Gov. Scott Walker is reacting to the tragedy in Colorado.
In an interview with Newsline 9 Friday morning, Walker said he is saddened by the events.
"It's just tragic," said Walker. "No matter where it was at, no matter what the reason's for it, it's obviously tragic both for the families of those who lost loved ones and for all those others who are panicked about loved ones being hospitalized."
We also asked the governor if he feels the shooting will lead to any changes in security at public places such as movie theaters.
"It's still pretty early," said Walker. "A lot of times people jump to conclusions as to how to react to that. I think it'll probably take a day or two to really get an assessment as to what happened, how it happened."
This is the worst mass shooting in Colorado in more than a decade.
