That's exactly what this group was doing. They're called 50's For a Cause. Every year more than a dozen riders hop on their scooters and travel close to 100 miles.
It is all to raise money for a sick child. All the money collected goes toward his or her medical bills.
This year's ride was in honor of Mosinee High School student A. J. Detert.
"With today's economy, the way things are going everyone needs help," Organizer Ervin Wanta said. "Especially a little boy or girl that needs help or the family needs help when they have to go to the hospitals in Madison or Milwaukee so if we can help them a little bit that makes them happy. "
