Police say a man being held as a person of interest in a fight at the home of a missing Oakland County man faces charges related to financial crimes.
The Detroit Free Press reports that the man is to be arraigned Wednesday in Auburn Hills. His name was not released.
Police say a violent altercation took place in the Troy home of 55-year-old Patrick Mikes.
Mikes was seen Friday afternoon leaving home on his black Cannondale Super 6 road bike. The bike has red handlebars.
His sons, ages 21 and 16, reported Mikes missing Sunday morning. That's when officers noticed evidence of an assault at the house.
Troy Capt. Robert Redmond said Mikes' sons did not give "a coherent response" to the time it took to report him missing.
A 35-year-old Wausau man was found dead inside a home on the city's northeast side Wednesday evening.
A brand new run will hit the streets of Weston Saturday to honor the four victims of the March 22 shooting.
