Oil pipeline re-opens in Adams County

A pipeline in Adams County has now been re-opened after a section of it failed.

More than 50,000 of oil spilled near Grand Marsh last month. Enbridge Energy owns the pipeline and had to submit a restart plan to the government before it could start again.

Enbridge officials tell Newsline 9 that happened Tuesday afternoon. They say some contaminated soil is still being removed from that area.

Wisconsin petroleum officials say the spill is one factor in the recent spike in gas prices.
