ANTIGO (WAOW) -

We have reported on moose sightings in our area before. Truck driver Ken Nelson sent in video of a moose traipsing around off Highway 8 between Crandon and Rhinelander one March afternoon.

Then there was this series of moose sightings in Oneida County. We want to believe there is a moose family in residence in the Northwoods because we've been following the sightings since 2009. There have even been moose sightings in Shawano County.

You can add Antigo to the list of moose sightings. Daniel Van Ooyen of Langlade County shared this picture of a moose he says was hanging out just northwest of the airport in Antigo. The moose appears to be cooling off by some agricultural irrigation sprinklers.

More moose sightings:

March 29, 2012: Moose spotted in the Northwoods

October 6, 2011: Moose sighted in Oneida County

September 16, 2009: Moose on the loose!

October 17, 2008: Moose spotted in southwestern Shawano Co.
