Skyward still waiting to hear on statewide contract

A Stevens Point technology company is waiting to hear if it will get a statewide multi-million dollar contract. The vice president at Skyward tells Newsline 9 that company submitted a new bid to the state last month, to create software for all Wisconsin public schools.

But the company hasn't heard anything since then. Skyward was involved in some controversy—word came out the company had been promised tax credits if it won the bid.

The state suspended the process—now, it's ongoing again and Skyward is waiting to hear if it will get the project. Newsline 9 tried to ask state officials about the status of the bid process, but they did not return our calls.
