Marathon offense looks to lead charge

Ten of the last 13 years, a team from the Marawood Conference has won the division six state title.
This year, Marathon is hoping a strong offense can put them in that conversation.
The raiders return arguably the best quarterback and wide receiver in the conference in Collin Seubert and Vince Dinkel.
So, they know their offense will put up points and if the defense comes around, this could be a year to remember.
"Our offense is probably further ahead than it has been in a few of the last years just because a lot of the personnel coming back and that's a big benefit," Marathon head coach Todd Stoffel said.
"We want a conference championship," Marathon quarterback Collin Seubert said. "Any team in this conference can win it. It's one of the toughest conferences in the state. We feel like we can compete and we can win games."
"A lot of these guys played as sophomores, started as juniors and now that we're seniors, it's exciting to know that all of our experience, we're going to prove it's going to pay off this year," Marathon wide receiver Vince Dinkel said."
