Speaker of the House makes a stop in Wausau

Mitt Romney's announcement that Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan would be his running mate has already brought some big names to Central Wisconsin.

Speaker of the House John Boehner stopped in Wausau on Saturday, campaigning on behalf of the Romney, Ryan ticket.

With Congressman Sean Duffy by his side, Speaker Boehner told a small group at the Victory Center that Paul Ryan was the most intelligent choice for Romney's running mate.

Speaker Boehner said he spoke with Ryan minutes after the announcement and told him, "just be yourself and you will be fine."

Speaker Boehner said Ryan will make the bold choices our country needs to survive.

"I'm proud of Governor Romney too," Speaker Boehner said. "He made a tough choice, probably could have made easier choices. But, he picked someone that will help him, help his ticket and the two of them can help fix our economy and our country."

Speaker Boehner also made stops in Green Bay and Madison.
