Marshfield residents asked to lock car doors while police search for teen

Marshfield residents are being asked to lock their car doors, after police say a teen tried to steal a car.

Authorities say they found a 17-year-old boy trying to steal a car. When they tried to stop him, officers say the teen ran away.

Police now believe he may look for another car to steal so he can leave the area.

Officials say the teen is a white male, about 5'9", with blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing jeans and a red sleeveless shirt in the 400 block of Maple in Marshfield.
