UPDATE: 2nd person dead after crash in Minocqua


UPDATE - A second person died as a result of the August 13th crash in Minocqua.  Minocqua police say Timothy Needham of Peoria, IL passed away on August 18th.  

The accident is still under investigation.


Investigators have released the names of the victims in Monday's fatal crash in Minocqua.

According to police, Robert D. Lemmer, 50, of Hazelhurst was killed in the crash at the intersection of Blue Lake Road and Agawak Road.  Lemmer was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other men were hurt.  Timothy D. Needham, 21, of Peoria, IL was flown from the scene by Spirit Air.  John W. Pearl, 21, also of Peoria was transported to Howard Young Medical Center.

The crash is still under investigation.


One person died and two people were hurt after a crash in Minocqua.

It happened on Blue Lake Road off of Highway 51 shortly after 2:00 p.m. State patrol officials tell Newsline 9 a flatbed truck and an SUV collided.

Investigators say there were no witnesses so they're trying to figure out what happened.
