Voters head to the polls

Wisconsin's Primary election polls are open.

We stopped by a polling center on Wausau's Southeast side. While we were there,  a steady stream of voters stopped by to cast ballots. Elections inspectors at the  polling location say if voters continue to stop in at the current pace, they will outdo the election projections.

The state's Government Accountability Board predicts 20 percent of eligible voters will turn out for Tuesday's primary in Wisconsin.

You don't need a photo ID to vote in this election, but you must sign the poll book. Polls remain open until 8 p.m.
