Storm hockey coach Denny Drake steps down

Coming off their second-ever girls' hockey state title, the Central Wisconsin Storm will have to defend that crown with a new coach in the box.

Storm head coach Denny Drake has stepped down from his position with the team.

Drake is the reigning Wisconsin girls' hockey coach of the year. He led the storm to two state titles in seven seasons.

The search for his replacement is under way.
