Tuesday Sports Report - 08/21/12

High school sports are starting to heat up all around the area as volleyball and soccer action kicked off Tuesday.

The DC Everest boys' soccer team opened the conference slate with Wausau West. The two teams battled to a scoreless tie at half, but the Evergreens added two goals in the second 40 to win 2-0.

At Wausau West, the Warrior volleyball team hosted an invite. The host Warriors beat Lakeland and finished 1-2 on the day.
