UPDATE - The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department says it is requesting charges on a 26 year old man for his role in a gas station robbery on August 26th, 2012.
In a press release, the department says it received information from the public based on the video surveillance. They say they spoke with Nathan George, who confessed to the crime.
The robbery happened at the Westside Express Mart on West Grand Ave. The suspect lives in Wisconsin Rapids.
The department thanks the community for its help.
Wisconsin Rapids police officers are asking for help identifying a suspect in a robbery at the Mobil Mart on Grand Avenue.
They say a man walked into the store just after six o'clock Sunday night and while purchasing some items, reached across the counter, pushed an employee and grabbed an undisclosed amount of money.
They say a weapon was not displayed and no one was injured.
