GREEN BAY (AP) -
Vice President Joe Biden has delivered a familiar script in Green Bay, sticking to standard themes during a brief campaign stop.
Biden appeared Sunday at the National Railroad Museum, where he argued that it was Democrats who would protect the middle class.
Biden says Republicans talk about restoring America, but he says it was the GOP whose policies had weakened the U.S. He says Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan would take America back to the same policies that led to the economic downturn
Republican Mitt Romney's campaign counters that the Obama administration has failed to offer solutions to Wisconsin or the nation.
Sunday's stop was part of the Obama-Biden campaign's "Road to Charlotte" tour. The appearance precedes the Democratic National Convention, which starts Tuesday in North Carolina.
