Suspects cause damage to vendor booths at fair

Police are looking for whoever damaged property at the Central Wisconsin Fair in Marshfield.

Police say someone tampered with 11 vendor booths. It caused an estimated $1,200 in damage. The fair wrapped up Monday. That's the day police were called.

"Numerous vendors ropes that are used for support were cut by the suspects, as well as slicing of gas lines and water hoses," Marshfield Police Dept. officer Travis Esser said.

Police say the suspects may be between the ages of 14 and 16, but they don't have much more to go on. If you know anything about the incident, contact Wood County Crime Stoppers.
