OSHKOSH (AP) -

A 53-year-old woman is dead after being struck by two vehicles in Oshkosh.

Police say a 45-year-old female driver from Oshkosh struck Gina Micheln, of Oshkosh, who was in the roadway. A sports utility vehicle then hit the injured pedestrian as she lay in the street at about 1:50 a.m. Friday.

She died at a local hospital.

The driver of the first vehicle was taken into custody. Detectives believe alcohol may have played a role in the crash.

Police are looking for the driver of the sports utility vehicle.
