The UW Stevens Point football team is trying something new this season.
At the end of practice on Thursdays, each position on the team sends a representative to competition Thursdays.
In week one they had to spin in place and catch a punt.
The position players can make it look easy, but the linemen, especially freshman Matt Parsons, can be good for a few laughs.
"I was hoping for a dance off, I was hoping to show off some of my dance moves," said senior defensive end Robert Butler. "I'm excited, I'm looking forward to next Thursday to see what they got.
"We have some guys who have some good hands, but Parsons, the O-lineman, he's the most impressive and the funniest to watch. I hope they do something like that again, I want to see Parsons do a dance-off."
"It's just something to bring the team together, you saw a lot of enthusiasm, and lot of juice out here, and that's how we practice," said Pointers head coach Tom Journell.
