Police: Suspected murder weapon found

The Marshfield Police say they've found what they believe to be the weapon used in the weekend murder.

18-year-old Maisie McCullough was found dead Saturday. Her ex-boyfriend Garbiel Luis Campos, 20, is being held on a $5 million bond, accused of being involved in her death.

According to police, investigators searched Campos' car and found the knife they believe was used to kill McCullough. The crime lab still needs to verify it.

The Wood County deputy coroner says McCullough's throat was slit and she was stabbed in the back. Court documents say she also had cuts on her left hand, that were consistent with someone defending themselves.

Campos has not been charged at this time. He's expected to appear in court October 1.
