Packers fans rejoice after win against rival

Mike Altenberg and his family travel to Lambeau Field three times a year. But, it's not exactly for a family.

"My wife is a football fan, I'm a tailgate fan," Altenberg said.

With brats, ribs and music, these tailgate die hards spend hours setting up, followed by hours of celebrating.

"We meet all these great people and stay in touch with them in the off season, it's the commodore that's the best," Altenberg said.

And, that commodore dates back decades.

"We had gold package tickets when they were in Milwaukee and then they transferred them to Green Bay so we've been coming for many years," Karen Ellis said.

But, it's the big rivalry game that brings the most fun.

"It's been a rivalry for a really long time and my best friend is a Bears fan," Packer fan Ashley Brach said.

But, despite the rivalry, they've learned to keep the peace.

"I love her even though she's a Bears fan."

"Lambeau is just a fun place to be no matter what fan you are," Bears fan and Brach's best friend said. "The packers fans are decent even though they're cheering for the wrong team."

But, no matter who wins or loses it's the experience that matters most.

"Even when we don't have tickets we come up here and tailgate," Altenberg said.

And the bragging rights never hurt.
