One person is dead, another injured after a motorcycle crash in Stevens Point.

Authorities say the crash happened Saturday just before 9:30 a.m. at the on-ramp to 1-39 at Division Street.

Police say the passenger, 59-year-old Mary Ladick, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, David Ladick was taken to a nearby hospital for non life threatening injuries.

Because of the crash, the on-ramp was closed for several hours.

All lanes are now open.
