Stevens Point Brewery is teaming up with a charity to bring awareness to prostate cancer.
The first annual Pointoberfest is going on this weekend at the brewery. Profits will go toward the organization Pints for Prostates.
Organizers say pairing the event up with a brewery is the perfect fit.
"It's a way to speak to men through the universal language of beer," Stevens Point Brewery Director of Marketing Julie Birrenkott said.
The event is on Saturday from 4-8 and there will be a live band. A specialty brew will be on tap just for the cause.
