Eye clinic offering free exams for NFL referees

One local business is responding to the referees' call, by questioning their judgment and their eyesight.

The Stine Eye Center in Weston is offering free eye exams for all NFL officials. This comes after the controversial call made by the replacement referees, claiming the final play of Monday night's game was a touchdown rather than an interception.

An electronic marquee is running outside the business, welcoming all NFL officials to stop by.

"Our question is, is it an up close problem, a near vision problem where they couldn't actually read the rules and know them correctly, or is it a distance vision problem where they couldn't see the interception as opposed to the catch," said Dr. Larry Addison, an optometrist at Stine Eye Center.

Clinic officials say they don't know how long they'll leave this message up.
