Administrator Todd Kuckkahn said Wednesday that no circumstances surrounding the death of Joey Miller were being released other than he died in school. St. Peter's is a Roman Catholic school. "We are shocked and saddened," Kuckkahn said. WISCONSIN RAPIDS (WAOW) -
Wood County authorities say a woman wearing a ski mask attempted to rob a Subway in Wisconsin Rapids Saturday night. They say she was armed with a knife and suspected fake gun.
Police say the attempted robbery occurred just before 9:00 p.m.
They say the woman entered the store and when employees refused to give her what she wanted, she ran away.
According to Wood County Sheriff's Department officials, she headed northbound on 8th street.
Police say she was wearing black clothing and a black ski mask. They describe her as 5'3" with brown hair and eyes.
