Two men were honored Tuesday for their efforts to make the Wausau area a better place to live.
Cal Tillisch and Dave Eisenreich received awards from the Wausau Area Chamber of Commerce at a special dinner.
Tillisch was awarded for his decade-long effort to make the Wausau Curling Center a reality. Eisenreich was recognized for more than 20 years of work on the Wausau soccer fields.
Both men received John Cook Awards. Cook was a business leader known for bringing people together to achieve goals to benefit the community.
