More >> STEVENS POINT (WAOW) - An administrator at St. Peter's Middle School in Stevens Point says a seventh-grade boy collapsed and died in school on Tuesday morning. Administrator Todd Kuckkahn said Wednesday that no circumstances surrounding the death of Joey Miller were being released other than he died in school. St. Peter's is a Roman Catholic school. "We are shocked and saddened," Kuckkahn said. UPDATE - An Aspirus Hospital spokesperson says Roy Rennhack has been transferred to a Milwaukee hospital. Rennhack is listed in critical condition, the same condition he was listed as before the time of the transfer Thursday.
A motorcyclist is in critical condition after he was hit by a truck in the Cedar Creek area Wednesday evening.
Rothschild Police Sergeant Kevin Ostrowski says 26 year old Roy Rennhack was driving north just after 7pm on Business Highway 51. A 17 year old driving the other way turned left in front of Rennhack. The two vehicles crashed and Rennhack was taken to Aspirus Hospital.
Investigators say Rennhack was wearing a helmet. No citations have been issued and the crash is under investigation.
