Illini, Badgers seek answers in Saturday's game

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Illinois travels to Wisconsin on Saturday with both teams looking for their first win in the Big Ten.

Wisconsin (3-2, 0-1 Big Ten) was expected by many to be a favorite in the Leaders Division. Instead, the Badgers are averaging only 126 yards rushing with Montee Ball, have fired their offensive line coach and changed quarterbacks.

Illinois (2-3, 0-1) is also struggling under first-year coach Tim Beckman. There have been injuries and a startlingly porous defense. The Illini have been outscored 87-31 the last two weeks, including a 35-7 loss at home to Penn State last Saturday.

Illinois leads the series 36-35-7, but Wisconsin has won three straight over the Illini at home and six of seven overall.
