PORTAGE COUNTY (WAOW) -

A mother involved in a Portage County crash is talking about the terrifying ordeal. Authorities say the woman's SUV flipped several times yesterday, with several children inside.

The driver, Tracy Fleurant and her four-year-old son are still recovering in the hospital.

Everyone else has been treated and released. There were also two dogs in the car. One of them died on scene, but the other ran away.

And on Monday, some good news, as yellow Labrador Heidi was found.

"My mom called and said, 'Do you finally want some good news?' and I said 'Yes.' She said they found Heidi and she's at the Portage County Humane Society and she's unharmed," Fleurant told Newsline 9.

Fleurant says the camper she was pulling behind her SUV was swaying and she went into the median to try to slow down.

Investigators are still looking into what happened.
