You'll be seeing a lot of firefighters wearing pink
this month. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Firefighters from the Wausau Fire Department will be
some of many wearing pink shirts. Organizers say all the money the Wausau Fire
Department raises will go to a local family affected by breast cancer.
"It stands out to everybody, people notice right away
and ask questions, it brings awareness that way too," Wausau Firefighter
Matthew Brockman said.
The shirts cost $15 and are on sale at the Wausau
Fire Department on Grand Ave.
