The National Weather Service has issued a new tornado watch that includes Adams and Juneau Counties until 3 a.m. Monday morning. Healthcare careers were a hot topic at the job fair in Wausau today. UW-Marathon County hosted the event and schools from
throughout the UW system took part.
Organizers say many students express interest in healthcare,
so it's a perfect fit.
"Central Wisconsin is a
regional healthcare center and so there's a lot of need for people in those
fields. Many of them come from families where people are involved in those
fields and so they have some familiarity with it," UW-MC Student Services
advisor Jim Rosenberg said.
More than 20 vendors attended the event.
