WAUSAU (WAOW) -
The new curling facility in Wausau has gained international attention. Monday, members of the Chinese Curling Federation toured the center.
The group is looking at different curling facilities across the country to get some inspiration for their own.
The Wausau facility will have eight sheets of ice and will be the largest curling facility in the world.
Hooshang Zeyghami/Chief Engineer: "Impressed with the magnitude of the project and also the facility can be used for pre Olympic and training of the Olympic athletic people."
The new curling facility is set to open in November.
