Wausau West takes on Wausau East for annual Log Game

WAUSAU (WAOW) -

It is the final week of the high school football regular season and with it, a big rivalry game for Wausau football.

The 2-4 Wausau West Warriors will host the 3-3 Wausau East Lumberjacks at Thom Field for the annual Log Game at 7:00 p.m. Friday.

This is the third year in a row a playoff berth is on the line. Last year Wausau East claimed the log and a spot in the playoffs. Wausau West clinched a win and the wooden trophy in 2010. This year once again, the Lumberjacks hope to punch their ticket to the playoffs with a Log Game win.

Newsline 9 will have the results Friday night on Sports Express.
