Merrill man no longer faces charges connected to stealing bras

MERRILL (WAOW) -

A Merrill man no longer faces charges connected to tearing down dozens of bras from a breast cancer awareness display.

Christopher Tveten, 40, was accused of stealing almost 80 bras back in July. He was then charged with disorderly conduct.

Tveten was supposed to begin his jury trial on Monday. But, prosecutors dropped the case, saying there was not enough evidence to continue.

Tveten was issued a disorderly conduct citation by police.
