Working Women's Wednesday

Posted:

Women took part in the Working Women's Wednesday event, at the Knight's of Columbus in Marshfield.

It brings together women from all walks of life and is a chance for them  to share ideas and network.

The Marshfield Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Mid-State Technical College organized the event. Debbie Bauer, who is an organizer with the chamber said, "It is a great way for women to come together and celebrate the accomplishments of women. Women do so many things in their homes and in the workplace. Sometimes their accomplishments go unrecognized. This is a way to give them the recognition they deserve."

Newsline 9's Melissa Langbehn was the featured speaker.

In addition to lunch, laughter and networking, the event also featured raffle prizes.

Working Women's Wednesday events are  held twice a year.

Marshfield Clinic is the event sponsor.
