360 pound pumpkin stolen from Merrill business


The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department reports that someone stole a 360 pound Pumpkin from a Merrill business.

According to a media release, the pumpkin was reported missing from Gail's Place on the corner of County Road K and Spring Lake Road  Sunday afternoon. The owner says the pumpkin is worth over $300.

Authorities say that several people would have been needed to take the pumpkin.

If you have any information on the pumpkin's whereabouts or saw any suspicious activity near Gail's Place call the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office at 536-6272. Callers may also call Crime Stoppers at 715-536-3726. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
