Two teens were taken to the hospital after a one vehicle rollover around 10:00 p.m. Wednesday night.
According to a press release from the Wood County Sheriff's Department, 16-year-old Brett Jacobs and 16-year-old Preston Galganski, both of Arpin, were driving northbound on Arpin-Richfield Drive in the Township of Richfield when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle went into the ditch, rolled and was then thrown into a wooded area breaking several trees, according to the release. Authorities report that the vehicle was found in separate pieces. Emergency workers had to extricate the passenger.
The driver was airlifted to Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. The passenger was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital, according to the release.
The Wood County Sheriff's Department is still investigating but preliminary finding suggest that speed played a factor, according to the press release.
