WAUSAU (WAOW) -
The Birds in Art exhibit at the Woodson Art Museum was three dimensional on Saturday.
Dozens of people gathered at the Museum for a chance to learn how to carve wood from area experts.
The workshop was open to artists of all skill levels for a fee.
Carvers taught students how to craft beautiful sculptures, along with techniques they can use to create pieces of art in the future.
"It's always exciting seeing people that are excited about doing it and we got a few beginners in the class which is kind of neat and it's hard and it's frustrating at first but it's real rewarding I think," said Bob Guge.
The event runs through Sunday at the Woodson Art Museum in Wausau.
