MOSINEE (WAOW) -
One local community is trying to
help those devastated by Hurricane Sandy. In Mosinee, organizers are trying to
fill a trailer with donations to send east.
All of the items are getting shipped
off in two weeks. They're looking for everything from canned foods to cleaning
and baby supplies.
Organizers
say it's about helping those who need it the most.
"People are so devastated
and we're a small community. So no individual or small group can hope to pull
this off. So we're hoping the whole of Central Wisconsin
can get together with us and we'll do some good for the people back east,"
James Hansford with the Mosinee Area Action Club said.
