Students buying books is a piece of pie for principal

Posted:

Students at a Wausau elementary school had some fun during the lunch hour launching pies at their principal.

Hewitt-Texas students have been buying books for themselves and their school. With the purchases, students names could be entered in a drawing,  to throw a pie at their principal, Clint Rogers. Rogers says the idea is to get kids to develop a love of reading a learning. The pies certainly provided them with incentives, as well.

The school PTO raised more than $2000 through the book sales.
