STEVENS POINT (WAOW) - An administrator at St. Peter's Middle School in Stevens Point says a seventh-grade boy collapsed and died in school on Tuesday morning. Administrator Todd Kuckkahn said Wednesday that no circumstances surrounding the death of Joey Miller were being released other than he died in school. St. Peter's is a Roman Catholic school. "We are shocked and saddened," Kuckkahn said. "We trust that God in his infinite wisdom will walk with us in our grief."More >>

WAUPACA COUNTY (WAOW) -

A one-vehicle crash has shut down part US 10, near Fremont in Waupaca County.

According to the Waupaca County Sheriff's Department, all eastbound lanes of US 10 at Old Highway 49 are currently closed following a one vehicle crash just after 6:00 a.m. Monday.

Authorities advise travelers to take an alternate route. They are also advising drivers to slow down because livestock may be roaming on or near the road.

Take US 10 eastbound to Old Highway 49, then go south to Desert Road, east to Wis 49, and then north back to US 10.

Sheriff's officials say the highway will be shut down for at least two hours.

No other information about the crash is known at this time.
