Boys & Girls Club celebrates 15 year anniversary


The Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area is celebrating 15 years in existence. During a recognition luncheon at the Jefferson Street Inn, Executive Director Brian Stezenski-Williams talked about the growth of the club.  It now has three locations, one in Wausau and two in the D.C.  Everest School District.

More than 2300 children are now registered members of the club, plus,  thousands more take part through outreach programs.

During the luncheon, Newsline 9, Midwest Communications radio stations and the Wausau School District were recognized for efforts in getting the word out about the club. Volunteer,  Casey Nye from the DCE schools was also recognized.
