One of our high school athletes has announced her plans for college. Willa Huddleston of DC Everest will swim at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida. Huddleston officially signed her letter of intent this afternoon at the high school.

She placed fourth in the 200 meter individual medley at this year's sectional championships and the senior was also named to this year's all-conference second team. Huddleston says she is looking forward to being in a warmer climate and getting a tan.

"When I visited it, I really like the campus and the pool and everything I really liked the swim team and how they connected and bonded," Huddleston said.
