TOWN OF RUSSELL (WAOW) -

Lincoln County authorities say a hunter was found dead Saturday night in Lincoln County.

Sheriff's Department officials say 51-year-old Steve Jackson of Antigo was found unresponsive near the Town of Russell just after 6 p.m.

Authorities say Jackson was the head of the Langlade County Forestry Department.

Foul play is not suspected, but the death is under investigation.
