THREE LAKES (WAOW) -

According to Three Lakes police, one person was killed in a car crash early Sunday morning. 36-year-old Christopher Laux of Three Lakes was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say only one car was involved in the crash. Crews were called to Highway X near Minne Wonka Lane in the Town of Three Lakes just after 5:00 a.m. Sunday.

According to a press release, an initial investigation revealed the car was traveling southbound when the driver failed to make a curve.

According to a press release, Laux was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash is under investigation by the Three Lakes Police Department and the Oneida County Medical Examiners Office.
