WOOD COUNTY (WAOW) -
It has been six years since the body of 21-year-old Deidre Harm was found in Wood County.
Harm was last seen alive June 1, 2006 in Wisconsin Rapids after leaving a bar. Hunters discovered her remains in a wooded area later that year.
According to a message from the Wood County Dispatch center, investigators from the Wood County Sheriff's Department, Wisconsin Rapids Police Department and Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations are still searching for information about Harm's death.
In 2009, investigators turned their attention towards 36-year-old suspected serial killer Christopher Revak after someone in Central Wisconsin called in a tip. Investigators say they don't believe Revak was in Wisconsin when Harm vanished but that he resembled this person of interest identified during the Harm investigation. He lived in Missouri but has family in the Wisconsin Rapids area.
Revek was charged with the 2007 murder of a Missouri woman. However, he hanged himself in a Missouri jail in 2009. At the time Douglas County Missouri Sheriff Chris Degase said Revak was suspected in murders from two other states. "He is a suspect in 3 other homicides on missing women, some of them dating back to 14 years ago," Degase said.
If you have information about the investigation or Revak's involvement contact the Wood County Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 877-325-7867. Authorities say you can also text a tip to "CRIMES" (274637). If you begin your message with "WCCS" your information will be kept private.
