Posted:
STRATFORD (WAOW) -

Law enforcement officials say students at Stratford High School were evacuated Tuesday after a threat was discovered on a bathroom stall.

They say classes were cut short just before 2 p.m. and students were taken to another school. The Marathon County Sheriff's Department says its bomb squad was on scene.

Marathon County Patrol Lt. Fred Goch says he didn't believe anyone was in immediate danger.

Officials say the scene was cleared around 3:45 p.m. and students were allowed back in the building.
