More >> STEVENS POINT (WAOW) - An administrator at St. Peter's Middle School in Stevens Point says a seventh-grade boy collapsed and died in school on Tuesday morning. Administrator Todd Kuckkahn said Wednesday that no circumstances surrounding the death of Joey Miller were being released other than he died in school. St. Peter's is a Roman Catholic school. "We are shocked and saddened," Kuckkahn said. CLARNO, Wis. (AP) -
Authorities in southern Wisconsin say a man driving a milk truck collided with and killed two cows that had wandered onto a road.
The Green County sheriff's office says the 26-year-old man was driving in the Town of Clarno on Thursday evening when he came across a number of cows in the road.
The driver told authorities he braked and swerved but couldn't avoid hitting two cows.
Deputies say the milk truck sustained moderate front-end damage. A WISC-TV report (http://bit.ly/TTfT4x ) says the owner of the cows was contacted to remove the animals.
