UPDATE: Men plead not guilty in heroin case

Posted:
MARSHFIELD (WAOW) -

The two men police say supplied a Marshfield woman with a deadly dose of drugs have pleaded not guilty.

22-year-old Justin Drinka and 23-year old Trenton Blume both face first-degree reckless homicide charges.

Police say they supplied the heroin that killed 20-year-old Kayla Vanderwyst.

She was found dead inside a Marshfield home back in August.

According to court records, Drinka and Vanderwyst did heroin together the night before her death and Blume drove them to pick it up.

Both Blume and Drinka are set to appear in court again in January.
